History
It is a dog species born in the 1960s. I was popular as a hunting dog in the United States, and a formal breeder association was established in 1967. I am almost bred as a true hunting dog, and the thing kept as a pet is rare. It is one of the well-known hunting dog classes in the United States, but is hardly known out of the country of origin. I have not been yet recognized officially in FCI.
Characteristic
It is a dog species of クーンハウンドタイプ having a body of the compact meatiness. The chest is wide, and the leg is long. マズル is short thickly, and the power of a chin and the whole body is strong. The tapered sauce tail that a hanging ear, the tail do not have the aigret as for the ear. The parietal area is flat. A coat is a harder smooth coat; the hair color black ブリンドル (black tiger stripes). In big dogs of body high 41-61cm, the character is faithful, and submission is friendly, but I am valiant when I go to the hunting and become aggressive. I can get along well with a child and other dogs, and the situation judgement is superior, too. However, it is unsuitable for the breeding in the apartment complex to bark in a voice to greatly carry by a causative pattern well.
