The Saudi Arabian navy (Saudi Arabian かいぐん, Arabic :القواتالبحريةالملكيةالسعودية) is the armed force of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abbreviated designation RSNF(Royal Saudi Naval Forces). I put the headquarters in Riyadh. The western fleet bases on Jiddah and unfolds in the Red Sea, and the east fleet bases on Juba yl and unfolds in the Persian Gulf. In addition, there are navy facilities for ダンマーム or Jan boo.

History

The Saudi Arabian navy was founded in 1960. I received help of the United States, and the expansion of the large-scale armaments was performed to be opposed to the Iranian empire navy of the Iranian empire where opposition deepened in 1972. Expansion of armaments is carried out again afterwards a bottom of the help of France (Sawa re-plan). The U.K. and France purchased a large number of war vessels, but there is the cooperation of the American SAIC(Science Applications International Corporation) company for the same period, too, and they reach the current armaments from 1980s through 1990s [⁵].

A lot of war vessels which I purchased from the foreign country introduce Sun Down grade underwater mine minehunters into the Saudi Arabian navy from Corbett and a patrol, the U.K. from a frigate, the United States from France.

Future

The Saudi Arabian navy examines the purchase of the submarine made in Germany for approximately 2,500 million euros (dollar conversion approximately 3,400 million dollars) [⁷]. In addition, I contract with Lockheed Martin Corporation for the purchase of the Mk 41 perpendicular discharge system as part of foreign payment military aid of the United States in December, 2014 [⁸].
