Takayoshi Yanagida (やなぎだたかよし, March 27, 1948 -) is a composer of the contemporary music.

Brief career history

Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido birth. Via Sapporo, Hokkaido north Senior High School, I study under Klaus Pringsheim by composition in Institute of Musashino Academy of Music, university. I learn composition from Harald ゲンツマー in Munich College of Music. In 1969, I win the 38th Japanese music contest Original Score first place Music - Original Score Award and win twice Agency for Cultural Affairs art festival excellence prize of the 52nd, the 54th as a member of the orchestra project, and a blowing musical piece is "a portrait of the fall wind", and, in 2006, the first Frank ティケリ international composition contest (The First Frank Ticheli Composition Contest, New York) third place places it (Category 2).

In 2005, orchestra anthology Vol. 1 is published by north Pacific music (North Pacific Music, Oregon Portland), and, in 2009, an anthology including an orchestra anthology and chamber music is published in 2015 by Kojima recording (ALM Records).

I successively hold a professor at education university education department, the dean, Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers regular member, Japanese association of contemporary music regular member, Japan Federation of Composers regular member, association of Japan and Russia musician regular member, a representative of JEOL keyboard Musicological Society secretary now.
