Kunimatsu Matsuo (1874 (1874) from July 29 to 1958 (1958) January 17 to wait if I put it to wait) is a Japanese politician of the Taisho era period, the Showa period. The Mayor of former Gifu (from March 7, 1925 to June 7, 1946). A member of the House of Lords (from March 22, 1946 to May 3, 1947).

The eldest son is Gosaku Matsuo. I act as the Mayor of Gifu as well as Kunimatsu.

Summary, brief career history

  • I am from Gifu prefecture county Kita village (existing Gifu-shi).
  • Through a local public worker of Gifu, I take office as the Mayor of Gifu-shi (1925) on March 7 in 1925. I serve (1946) afterward for approximately 21 years until June 7 in 1946. In addition, I become a member of the House of Lords (Imperial compilation member of the Diet) (1946) from March 7 in 1946 and hold an additional post of the Mayor of Gifu and a member of the House of Lords for approximately three months.
  • Achievements holding the office of the Mayor of Gifu include land readjustment with the city planning, the maintenance of water and sewage. In the waterworks of Gifu-shi, the sewer is maintained from (1934) in 1934 from (1928) in 1928, but, in the case of maintenance business, repairs the pond (a reservoir for the agriculture that asks instruction of ヨハニス デ レーケ in 1885, and was built is damaged by a strong tail earthquake in 1891) in the Minamiyama foot of the 100 ヶ peak (named existing Matsuo Pond by the name of Kunimatsu Matsuo).
