An advisory group [1] of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport direct control consisting of five specialists in business reproduction that the JAL reproduction taskforce (JAL さいせい taskforce) was installed for asset evaluation for the management rebuilding of Japan Airlines and revival plan development, practice. Summary

Change of government from the Liberal Democratic Party to the Democratic Party happened in September, 2009, but the rebuilding problem of the JAL group was an urgent problem from the ex-government bottom. Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Seiji Maehara abolished "a well-informed person meeting for management improvement of Japan Airlines" under the ex-government and installed "JAL reproduction taskforce" and let you perform the asset evaluation of the JAL group, and politics decided to let it-led devise revival plan. The JAL reproduction taskforce worked out a reproduction plan with higher than expert and 100 total staff that came from Asahi Nishimura law office or the Boston consulting group in the company in the JAL head office [3]; [4].

Revival plan main point presentation was the plan of the revival plan decision at the end of November at the end of October at first. However, it caused the repulsion of the correspondent bank group of JAL over debt waivers, and the policy of the government continued moving slightly, too, and the development of the plan passed through twists and turns [5]. The member of the JAL reproduction taskforce was following five people (by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport news release as for the title at the time); [1]. In addition, one person should have participated from Development Bank of Japan which was the main bank of the JAL group at first, but canceled it out of concern of the profit reciprocity [4].
