Origin
I am born as the eldest son of the Kano Egawa celebration sincerity. I inherit the position that father built smoothly and accomplish exceptional, early success in life among the illustrators of the successive Kano group. I act as depths order at 12 years old early (1764) in the Meiwa first year, and I am given warm reception like father by teens general Ieharu Tokugawa and member of the Shogun's Council of Elders Okitsugu Tanuma and am made the second highest rank among Buddhist priests at 29 years old (1781) in the first year in dawn. I receive a trace of father (1790) for generous politics two years and inherit the Kobikicho Kanos. Furthermore, I become a Buddhist monk practicing asceticism in the mountains at 42 years old (1794) for generous politics six years, and death from an illness makes a position of the shogunate painter Yotsuya first on the list a positive one disregarding the Kano Nakabashis of the head family which continued. I dealt with a lot of Edo-jo Castle painting on a folding screen and wall and matters of pictures in charge of Seki, Gose, Kyoto. I die at (1808), 56 years old for culture five years.
The style of painting did not greatly contribute to the new development of the Edo Kano group whom father, celebration sincerity propelled quietly for early Sakae. However, I make a Yamato-e painting better, and a mild, witty stroke of the pen has a characteristic.
