The archipelago where Inujima Islands (いぬじましょとう) are located in eastern part, Setonaikai National Park of the Seto Inland Sea. I am surrounded by Okayama Channel and Kojima Peninsula of Okayama, Shodoshima and Toyoshima of Kagawa. I am relatively gathered up and, around offing 3km of Hoden, Okayama-shi (Honshu), am located. It is 0.6km2 and a small island in maximum Inujima. Whole archipelago is Higashi-ku, Okayama-shi, Okayama.
Main island
- Inujima (いぬじま): Archipelago central part. The area is maximum in the archipelagos in 0.54km2. An archipelago only manned island (approximately 54 population). It is Inujima Port in the northern coast.
- Dog ノ island (island of the dog): An uninhabited island near the western part of Inujima. There is "the Inuishi shrine" to enshrine the huge stone similar to the dog in the most high place of the island. A factory of the Okayama chemical industry occupies the all of the islands, and the daytime business visitor is to call a ferryboat with a buzzer from Inujima of the opposite bank. It is Closed to the Public, but can usually go ashore only at the time of festival of the Inuishi shrine of May 3 other than the person concerned.
- Offing hand drum island (おきつづみじま): The uninhabited island which is located in the southeastern part of Inujima.
- Ground Takenokojima (じたけのこじま): An uninhabited island in the west of Inujima. Two islands are connected at a sandbar, and there is Inujima shell mound of early (approximately 10,000 years ago) in the island of the north side in Jomon period.
- Offing Takenokojima (get up Takeno Kojima): An uninhabited island in the south of ground Takenokojima.
