Characteristic

It is the pulsating variable star of the Cepheus beta type to perform strange light between 1.31 from 1.23 with a period of 0.2365072 days. In a blue sub-giant, it is a spirited star with the intensity of light of tens of thousands of times of the sun.

Name

The scientific name βCrucis (as for the abbreviated designation βCru). ベクルックス (Becrux) of the name read scientific name Beta Crucis for short. Alias mimosa (Mimosa) comes from the mimosa which is the original meaning of the mimosa.
