宏智正覚 (わんししょうがく, 1091 (元祐 six years) -1157 age (Shaoxing 27 years)) is a Zen priest of Chinese Soong charges. I belonged to a Soto sect and there were many pupils and was considered to be a father of 宏智派. I insisted on form of the posture of contemplation called the silent meditation without thinking with the thing of the authentic linkage and left much 詩偈.

I was opposed to 大慧宗杲 which belonged to Rinzai sect over the true Zen method intensely.
