The west village signal box (にしのさとしんごうじょう) is a signal box of Hokkaido Railway Co. (Hokkaido Railway) Chitose Line in Kitahiroshima-shi, Hokkaido.
A signal box of the same name existed on the old line before Chitose Line was transferred on September 9, 1973 by the new line. I describe this signal box.

Summary
In our current signal box, a train shunts with the up, the descent in both directions in by the 2 line of the main line, the copy line. With increase of the train number by the Shinchitose-Airport Station opening of business, it is the signal box which was established to enable the pursuit race of the train on the way. The effective head of the vice-main line for the down line is greatly different if for an up line. The up line in particular has only the effective head for six trains.
An interval, the vice-main line of the up, the descent are not used in the winter season and are not cleared of snow. Each signal of the applicable hall, departure turns off the light and I raise the thing which I crossed in "the X" and do it with a withdrawal.
