West Florida
West Florida (British :West Florida) is the area that is large in the east and west of the Gulf of Mexico northern coast and is the name that was used to express the area in the early 19th century from the late 18th century. A border and a ruler changed many times in the history. It was France, Spain, the U.K. and the United States of America to have governed this area and I became independent as west Florida republic and belonged to the United States allied powers at the time of Civil War again for 1:00 period. The United States of America finally governs the whole area and becomes a part of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida now.

West Florida was divided into eastern Spain and western France from 1682 through 1763 and was governed. Spain was based in Pensacola as a part of the Florida colony. France was based in Mobil as a part of French possession Louisiana. French possession Louisiana was regarded as some nouvelle France. In negotiations of the Paris Convention to terminate war (French Indian war) for seven years, the U.K. obtained a part of Spain territory Florida and French possession Louisiana by transfer. After the meeting that began in June on September 23, the rebel army defeated a Spanish defense soldier in Baton Rouge and fluttered a new republican flag. The flag of one white star was called Bonney blue flag by blue fabric later.

Merger
On October 27, 1810, part of west Florida was merged with the United States by the declaration of the President of United States of America James madison. The madison assumed that there was included in the Louisiana purchase grounds. Skip with and an assembly protested this declaration and expected the negotiations of the condition that the United States increased at the start. However, William C C Claiborne dispatched for the requisition of the territory was not going to accept legitimacy of the west Florida government. I declared that the skip with was ready "to protect a flag of the Venus, and to die". However, skip with and the assembly finally compromised and accepted acceptance of the madison declaration.
As for the requisition of the Saint Francis Building, Baton Rouge was performed on December 10 on December 6, 1810. These areas were incorporated in the Orleans associate state made newly.
