Table of contents
Summary
Based on a design of Holland, two ships were constructed at Kawasaki shipyard. It was the first submarine building in Japan (as for the first model submarine only as for the assembling) and took one and a half years by the completion in spite of being a copy and was completed in (1906) in 1909. It is the copy of the Holland type, but the hull becomes smaller. This progresses in the carrier and moves and is said to be it when there was a plan to apply from there. [1]In addition, two warships of the same type are equal in 兵装 of the warship, but hull dimensions, the displacements are different. Therefore I may classify the seventh midget submarines in a seventh type and a different model depending on documents.
The sixth midget submarine caused the sinking accident [2] by seawater having flowed in from the air duct in large quantities in (1910) in 1910, but I raised it and was placed on duty again. I classify it into a second-class midget submarine (1916) on August 4 in 1916 and classify it into a third-class submarine (1919) on April 1 in 1919. I remove from a register in (1920) in 1920.
