Paul Morand
Career
I went around each country as a diplomat after graduation in Institute of Paris politics. I began to write the side, poetry and novel and had friendship with Marcel Proust. It became famous for (1922) when "I opened at night" to be known as a modernism novel of the 1920s at a bound. Morand who knew a lot about the international situation became a favorite child of the polite society in elegant gentlemen.
Because it was the diplomat of the Vichy government, I was impeached as a cooperator of Nazis Germany during World War II in postwar period and took refuge in Switzerland (at this chance I performed an interview to Coco Chanel who similarly stayed in Switzerland). I went back to France and became an Academie Francaise member afterwards in 1968.
