Kenichi Yokota

Kenichi Yokota (よこたけんいち, 1916 (1916) -2012 age (2012) February 6) is a Japanese historian. A specialty is Japanese ancient history. Professor emeritus at Kansai University.

Activity

I major in Japanese ancient history. I succeeded the representative of the Chronicles of Japan meeting for the study from Akihide Mishina and edited memoirs "Chronicles of Japan study" for many years. In Kansai University of the workplace, I took a central role in the history department (historical study, geography subject) establishment of 1949 and invited stone Hama pure Taro, Sogoro Uozumi, Masao Suenaga and others to the professorate and built the basics of subject. In addition, I made an effort for history of age editing business such as "the 100 years history" and "the 70 history" of Kansai University.
