Gold bell five (Kim ジョンオ, 김종오) is a Korean officer.
I commanded the sixth division at the time of the Korean War outbreak of war. It is the Battle of Chunchon, a fight of the Hakuba Highlands for the well-known fight that I commanded. I successively held joint Chairperson staff officer, Chief of Staff of the Army after a truce and was promoted to a general. Life
On May 22, 1921, I am born in Chungcheongbuk-do Cheongju county (current Cheongju City).

Boundary dispute

I let one squadron dress in 越北 on May 7 and let you detour around one platoon from two squadrons, west from the east side and was a plan to cut off the way of retreat of the military unit which came to the accommodation. However, two squadrons which I detoured around took the wrong way and they met and were at war with Northern forces. I did not come that the Northern forces seemed to notice camouflage and accommodated a squadron. The battle was intense, and it was thought that two squadrons withdrew, and the strategy ended in failure.
However, it penetrated from the west, and the one platoon which waited as an ambush posture caught Northern forces of the one squadron degree without radio going and attacked it. The platoon shot 104 people dead and got 13 captives and 鹵獲 did rifle more than 100 orders, machine gun one order and succeeded in the withdrawal, the result strategy.

Korean War
Battle of Chunchon
On June 25, 1950, the Korean War breaks out. Northern forces twelfth division (全宇少将) which received the support of Northern forces second division (Major General plum Aomatsu) and the independent tank regiment in the Korean military sixth division invaded and attacked.
The Korean military sixth division did 勇戦 using the topography which was precipitousness. The Northern forces were behind with the capture of Chunchon in this battle (the border outbreak of war), and the Northern forces second division suffered considerable damage. A mistake will in this way occur for the plan of Northern forces to let the second division break into Suweon, and to catch the military main force in Korea.
On June 27, the pressure of the enemy is added to 洪川, and do not abandon Chunchon; did not obtain it. When communication with the Korean army headquarters went then, I was ordered it from white one saying "do endurance along Chuo Line by a judgment of your bureaucrats". In addition, I asked the eighth division to convey a retreat order. After having told an order of the army headquarters to the eighth division, gold bell five gave a reconnaissance. A wall report of viva People's Republic was put everywhere, and the town of 驪州 hinted the invasion of the enemy. I was afraid of the military unit where gold bell five was in 驪州 in this report going south in 忠州, and cutting off the way of retreat of the division.
Delay battle of July
A bottom ordered that I abandoned an original state in the sixth division on the afternoon of July 1 and retreated to the line of the 忠州 - bank river. I let the seventh regiment defend the mountain pass of the Kanbayashi village in the evening and defended Han line of 忠州北側 with the main force. However, there were gaps more than 90 kilometers between Korean military main force and the sixth division of the Han line, and Suweon with the army headquarters was thrown open. The army headquarters was ordered to defend between 忠州 against the neighborhood of Anjo by the sixth division on 3rd, and I let 忠州 progress rapidly, and bell five defended the Anjo east side, the seventh regiment by 成歓方面, the 19th regiment in the second regiment second battalion.
On July 4, the army headquarters gave the sixth division an order saying "you supported the transfer of the eighth division with a part, and secure the line of the Anjo east side - shade castle with all energy". Gold bell five dispatched the seventh regiment of 忠州 in a shade castle and let you kept the second regiment main force as 忠州 and support the transfer of the eighth division. On 8th, the following day, Northern forces twelfth division and Northern forces first division (崔光少将) started an attack, and the second regiment withdrew in 水安堡. On July 9, the second regiment started a counterattack and was at war with an enemy for several hours. However, the attack of the regiment ran out at a bottom, too and retreated using fog to the Hanaizumi village because an enemy had begun to surround the left and the right flanks. The seventh regiment and the 19th regiment main force gathered on 10th.
On July 12, Northern forces first division started an attack. The sixth division withdrew for small Hakusan pulse while trying resistance. I let 梨花嶺 and 鳥嶺関南側 occupy the second regiment, the 19th regiment on July 13 and deployed the seventh regiment in the second line. Divisional commander Kim decided non-withdrawal. On July 14, the Northern forces first division started an attack again.
The second army corps (劉載興 [† 3] brigadier general) were founded on July 15, and the sixth division and the eighth division which were at war with an enemy were incorporated. The sixth division was at war with an enemy, but, with a tank in the lead, Northern forces first division did it and I was repulsed, and the sixth division retreated in the line of ball woman peak - wind Naruyama on 16th when I launched an all-out attack with heat support and arranged a front.
However, I had gaps of 30 kilometers between the leftist first division and was ordered retreat and the one battalion to the line of 頴江 by 化寧場 in the second army corps because the 15th division went south there to dispatch it. The Northern forces first division which forded 洛東江 on August 3 started an attack (August offensive). The sixth division retreated to Shinnei of the fighting spirit south side while developing the fluctuate offense and defense. He dies of a pulmonary tumor at home at 9:25 a.m. on March 30, 1966 [7].
