One of the villages where high Nomura (as soon as I ask an irregularity) ever existed in Kitasoma-gun, Ibaraki. An area equal to the southwestern part of current Moriya-shi, Ibaraki. I was born in a village system of April 1 (1889) in 1889. In addition, I refer to Koya (Moriya-shi) for high Nomura (as soon as I ask an irregularity) who is one of the forerunners.

History

Origin of the place name

I picked the name of high Nomura who was Omura most in high Nomura, Suzutsuka-mura, a youngest child village. Because Masakado Taira built Wakejo of the interest world King in the Tenkyo era first year, and high Nomura who became a forerunner just began in Jomura and the thing that I did and Masakado Taira imitated it in Kishu Mt. Koya-san Kongobu-ji Temple and founded sea temple belonging to the Zen sect here, I checked it with high Nomura in the Keicho era year.

Traffic

There was not the railroad station to high Nomura, but Joso railroad (Joso Tsukuba railroad in the back, current Kanto Railway Joso Line) went through Moriya-cho of the neighboring town and was able to use Moriya Station. In addition, I was able to use a steamship "shipping business circle" to bind Tokyo City together from Kinugawa, Tonegawa, Edogawa basin until (1913) in 1913 when Joso railroad started in (1900) in 1900. In addition, there was a ferry to Tonegawa from (1873) in 1873, but was closed down after a deluge of the time (1935) in 1935.
