• It is located in the southern part of 旧常澄村, the eastern part of current Mito-shi.
• In the eastern part of the village, level ground, the western part become the plateau.

History

Change of the village area

• Akinari Nitta merges by - municipality organization enforcement (1889) Daiba-mura, Morito village, lower Nyuno-mura on April 1 in 1889, and Daiba-mura, Higashiibaraki-gun starts.
• 常澄村 starts by a merger with - Inari-mura, Shimoono-mura (1955) on March 31 in 1955. The same day Daiba-mura abolition.
• Some - old village level (a part of bottom Nyuno, Akinari) are admitted into Mito-shi (1973) in 1973.
• It is admitted into Mito-shi, and - 常澄村 becomes extinct (1992) on March 3 in 1992.
