• South Asagishi-mura, Iwate-gun, Kagano-mura (partly), Shinjo-son (partly) merge by - municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889, and Asagishi-mura starts.

• It is admitted into - Morioka-shi (1941) on April 10 in 1941 and becomes extinct.
