History

It is not sure at the correct creation time. Because there was the noh dance to lower Goto by the end of the 16th century, it spreads after it, and it is guessed that I founded it. In addition, a noh dance is thought about by four people who went and worshiped as 代拝 of the Goto feudal clan feudal lord Shigeru Goto house in 1706 for Hoei era three years because a record made 奉奠 remains even if the spread was done at this time.

A person of chief priest and the noh dance called the people on the Southern Dynasty side (みやかた) led by the person of the house of the Shinto had been handed down until late years by the organization which danced, but Arikawa noh dance preservation society was formed in 2007 by aging and the lack of of people on the Southern Dynasty side successor, and the door was opened by many townsmans.

Program

The 28th noh dance dance comes to the Arikawa enlarged rooms on the second floor. As for the danced program, there is the 15th of "the lion dance" (I do it and put it away) "a square tray" (precious) "Mai Suehiro" (breathe Mai Hiro) "best four King" (してんのう) "a sword" (see a sword) "offering cloth" (みてぐら) "Ebisu dance" (prawns house) "a sword dance" (けっかい) "a Japanese halberd" (Japanese halberd) "a Seven-Five-Three Festival dance" (I will not occupy it) left dance performed by a woman in male attire (pole Mai), "wild salt" (a storm) by annual festival mainly "八撰花米舞" (I will not sleep a flower not to be able to utter) "山之真" (the mountain believe) "座祓" (ざはらい).

As the dance that is not danced very much, there is the ninth of "the fire dance of a god" (ひのかんまい) "four swords" (sword) "a catalpa bow" (Yumi Azusa) "Taro (やまのたろう) of the mountain" "a bell dance" (bell Mai) "a figure of God" (feel) "a general dance" (しょうぐんまい) "a tide well pail dance" (しおたごまい) "小幣" (こうべ), and, as the dance that broke off tradition, there is the fourth of "the Grass-Mowing Sword dance" (I will become mentally weak) "two sword dances" (sword Mai) "wild flat" (あらひら) "山之下" (I had the mountain).

Shinto priest dance

There is the fifth of "the catalpa bow", and, as a dance danced by a Shinto priest, as for other 23rd, it is danced "a Seven-Five-Three Festival dance" "Mai Suehiro" "offering cloth" "山之真" by people on the Southern Dynasty side, preservation society.

Program by the annual festival

A dance of the ninth or the eleventh is danced by the eve of a festival of the annual festival, and the fifth dance is danced by the main festival. "Several times of strangeness" is important by the Arikawa noh dance, and there is not the thing that the dance of the even number time is danced by annual festival. "座祓," three-game series of "the wild salt" are called "the third" "the left dance performed by a woman in male attire" and are danced first by all means. It is flown "八撰花米舞" "a lion dance" "a square tray" for "the third" last, and the dedication dance of the day becomes the end. "A treasure sword dance" was danced as a dance of the end once, but tradition is cut off and I sprinkle a rice cake on the worshiper in "八撰花米舞" and become the end.

Characteristic

It is flown in the facilities of the dance in the place called "a dance place" for tatami mat 2 tatami of one ken of every direction of the front shrine. The drum goes before the alter and is placed as two length on the left side (right by the structure of the main shrine), and flutes wait to the rear. A hymn song in kagura sung in the middle of a dance is called "a first haiku" (たっく) or "a brief word" (I am and am isolated), and this 立詞 often comments on a meaning and the origin of the dance. In addition, the hymn song in kagura of the Arikawa noh dance hands down 44 31-syllable Japanese poems, and there are particularly many 31-syllable Japanese poems which I took in from a collection of 31-syllable Japanese poems in the ancient and modern times.

Characteristic of the dance

A dance becoming basic of the Arikawa noh dance includes "wild salt" "the left dance performed by a woman in male attire" "座祓" of the one dance. "座祓," "the left dance performed by a woman in male attire" flies in the loyalty and treason (clockwise direction, counterclockwise direction) repeatedly, and I take in every direction (the southeast northwest) in loyalty and treason, and "the wild salt" is complicated a little. I can learn other dances when I learn these dances.

Dance hand, dance

"A dance hand" (wind it up) calls a person dancing a noh dance "dance" (Mai person). There is the 17th of "the fire dance of a god" "four swords" "a catalpa bow" "a general dance" "a tide well pail dance" "a square tray" "Mai Suehiro" "offering cloth" "Ebisu dance" "a sword dance" "a Japanese halberd" "a Seven-Five-Three Festival dance" the above-mentioned "third" for the dance of the one dance "八撰花米舞" "山之真". "Wild, flat", for the dance of two dances, there is the の seventh "Taro of the mountain" "a bell dance" "a figure of God" "a lion dance" "a sword" "小幣", and there are "four Four Devas" for a dance danced with four.

Because tradition broke off, the dance that the number of people of the dance hand lost includes the three-game series of "the treasure sword dance" "two sword dances" "山之下".

Clothes

As for the clothes, white robe white hakamas are often found, and a dance to put on a coat of arms on the top includes the three-game series of "the Ebisu dance" "a sword" "four Four Devas" when I dance the noh dance except the Shinto priest dance. In addition, a helmet, a triangle member of the House of Representatives who has no special government or party post are used as a headdress of the case. I cover a white robe white hakama with a madder cord, and the dance that only a triangle member of the House of Representatives who has no special government or party post is used for includes "a sword dance".

As other clothes, "a lion dance" wears Japanese knickers in "a figure of God". I wear red Japanese knickers in "a figure of God" and put on a coat of arms on the top. I bind a head with a Japanese towel, and "八撰花米舞" uses a madder cord to the kimono of the woman and is danced.

I wear it, and "wild a dance of the aspects is flat", and include the の fourth "a lion dance" "a figure of God" "Ebisu dance".

Tool

The tools which are used most include "a bell" and, during a dance, are used by the eleventh dance among the 28th dances. I hold a bell in the right hand and often hold other tools in the left hand.

Much one is "Gohei", and there is the seventh dance next. As for by the third, there is a dance to use a dance to use a dance and "the bow" to use other "swords" for for, "the fan" for, and, as for by the second, there is a dance to use a dance and "the square tray" to use "the Shinto straw festoon" for for.

As a tool used only by one dance "a winnow, a mallet" of "八撰花米舞." "The white stick" of "the figure of God" "the fishing rod" of "the Ebisu dance." "Four Four Devas using the priest's implement of "star-shaped day form, Tsukigata"," there are "tide well pail dances" to use "the pail" for.

Music

There is the program said to be "a way flute, way drum" "(ざぞろえ) to 座揃" becoming basic of a flute and the drum for Arikawa noh dance. There are eight pieces of "the musical accompaniment with a quick tempo" "the flute of the figure of God dance" "the flute of the lion dance" "it is confused" "flute of the square tray" "the flute of the left dance performed by a woman in male attire" "a way flute" as a program of the flutes to "座揃", and there is nine pieces class of "the drum of the lion dance" "a drum of the offering cloth" "the drum of the figure of God dance" "it is confused" "drum of the square tray dance" "the drum of the left dance performed by a woman in male attire" "a drum of 座祓" "a way drum" as a music class of the drum to "座揃".

In addition, there is "the drum of the hymn song in kagura" of the hymn song in kagura sung in the case of 玉串奉奠, and there is "the flute of the Shinto funeral" at the time of funerals and festivals.
