Yuge temple

The ancient temple where the Yuge temple (ゆげじ ^[1]/ ゆげでら ^[2], reason justice temple) boiled 河内国若江郡弓削郷 (current Yao-shi, Osaka). The ruins are not clear.

History

As for the foundation, missing [¹]. The whole area of 河内国若江郡弓削郷 is known as a stronghold of Yuge of the ancient family, and it is supposed that the Yuge temple was a family temple of Yuge [¹]. Mention of "the Yuge Shrine two seat" is seen in 河内国若江郡 with the "Engi era type" name of a god book, too, and this is supposed when was a patron saint of Yuge (for each one Yuge Shrine is enshrined now in Yugecho, Yao-shi, Higashiyuge); [³].

On the documents, do that the temple name, priest of a Buddhist temple line Saint name is seen in "智識優婆塞等貢進文" of December 30 (742 years) Tenbyo era 14 years with a first interview [²]; [¹]. About the temple trace of the Yuge temple, the clear remains of an ancient structure are not detected to date. With the opinion that the tile which is in the latter half of the Nara era excavates it in large quantities in the remains of Higashiyuge in Yao-shi in (2016) in 2016, and it is on the tile of the Yuge temple this [⁴]. In that case, the possibility that Yuge temple was equal with a large temple of Heijokyo has it pointed out because the same type of things as Kofuku-ji Temple, Todai-ji Temple are included on an exhumation tile [⁴].
