History

- - Shogunate territory becomes the jurisdiction of the Kumihama prefecture (June 28, 1868) on intercalary April 28 in 1868.
- The jurisdiction of - Kumihama prefecture becomes the jurisdiction of the Ikuno prefecture (September 15, 1869) on August 10, 1869.
- Tsuchiura feudal clan territory becomes the jurisdiction of the Ikuno prefecture by - territory intellect substitute (November 7, 1870) on October 14, 1870.

- It becomes the jurisdiction of Okayama by - second prefectures unification (1876) on April 18 in 1876.
- Yoshino-gun as the jurisdiction starts by the enforcement in Okayama of the - township municipalities organization method (1878) on September 29 in 1878. A county government office installs it in Shimonosho-mura (I move to the lower municipalities).

- A part of Shimonosho-mura is separated and becomes the Miyamoto village.
- A village merges at Awara-mura, field time and becomes the Awano village.
- Aoki-mura is merged each in Kamiishii-mura in Nishimachi-mura Azumacho-mura Kawanishi village by the old municipalities.
- Each following villages start by the enforcement of - municipality organization (1889) on June 1 in 1889. It is existing Mimasaka-shi other than special mention. (10 villages)
