History

I changed it as (1961), river improvement measures of Teshio River which there was much of the meandering in 1961, and construction was performed, and, in the former river, Shibetsu-shi received disposal from the country [⁴]. At an old river site put in 99 mountains and Teshio River as land readjustment project based on a subsidy from Hokkaido in (1967) in 1967 creation a start [⁵] [⁴]. I established the facilities (though I attack Shibetsu-shi a young house) for the purpose of the young people working on the cohabitation by the group and the training as part of a commemorative project for Hokkaido 100 years in (1968) in 1968 [⁶]. It becomes the main meeting place of the first "Shibetsu Teshio River Festival" with Chuo Park in (1976) in 1976 [⁵]. The park was completed in (1981) in 1981 [⁴]. I repair a young house entirely though I attack Shibetsu-shi in (2001) in 2001 [⁷].

Facilities

There are a boat and a go-cart, a campground, a baseball field, a bandstand, field athletic, a park golf course (the 18 holes) in the park [⁸] and displays a Japanese National Railways D51 form steam locomotive [⁹]. In addition, there are a young house, the staying training facilities such as the Shibetsu-shi cycling terminal Shibetsu-shi though arrive [¹⁰]; [¹¹] [¹²] [¹³]. In the winter season, set up a skating rink and curling ground [¹⁴]; [¹⁵]. The outskirts utilize a river site, and maintain a soccer ground, softball ground (Teshio River riverside district green tract of land); [⁸].
