Sumida (a corner) is a gunboat of the Japanese Navy. It is the second warship of the Fushimi type gunboat. For vessels of the Japanese Navy having this name as for the name of a warship in 襲用 of predecessors in the family line Sumida the second ship.

Warship career

I was constructed in Fujinagata Shipbuilding&Engineering and was classified into the completion, a gunboat on May 31, 1940.

I engage in the patrol activity of the Chang Jiang basin by the China incident. In the Pacific War, I engaged in the guard of the Chang Jiang basin. I was removed from the warship on October 1, 1944, and a classification was changed to the gunboat of the war vessel.

It was in Shanghai in the state that I could not navigate in the end of the war. I am requisitioned by the Republic of China and become "江犀 Chiang-Hsi" of the Kokufu navy, but I surrender to the People's Republic of China in 1949 and remove from a register afterwards in "涪 江 Fu jiang" and changing name, the 1960s.
