Sukur Cultural Landscape is one of the world heritages of the UNESCO in Nigeria. Iron manufacture does not tear the small village of the screw propeller along the ベヌエ river of アダマワ highlands in northeastern Nigeria from ancient times, and there are the remains of an ancient structure of ironworks. It is 7.644km² of this village to have been targeted for registration.

I make use of the topography of nature well, and the whole small village looks up at the palace of chief (Hidi) which is religious existence on the hill and brings about the scenery that terraced fields open under eyes. But although it was maintained until the early 20th century, the scenery was damaged for 1912 through 10 by the tribe of the neighborhood, and the palace of the chief became the ruins, too.

But various remains still remain in this small village where approximately 15,000 people live in and convey the aboriginality culture of a style and the community of the use of land which they piled up for a long time.
