Summary
I practiced medicine prior to town difference of the Saitama New Urban Center in 2000. In the Saitama New Urban Center as the duties district, the station is located in Omiya-ku of the east side (in addition, the new downtown area as the name of a street is located in west, Chuo-ku in the district) maintained on Chuo-ku and Omiya-ku.
A train of Utsunomiya Line (northeastern line) and Takasaki Line which are the Keihin-Tohoku Line train that the track name top is only Tohoku Main Line 1 route, and (the details refer to a route article and "the name of the pike") lies across the electric traffic lane in our station and a middle range train stops, and the route running in it is guided by the traveler guidance as a route according to each. In addition, the train of Utsunomiya Line, Takasaki Line is train Line, and Ueno Tokyo line communicating Tokaido Line directly via operated system departing from and arriving at Ueno Station, Ueno Station, Tokyo Station stops. Shonan Shinjuku line or the Musashino Line through train running over a northeastern goods line without the passenger home pass.
History
- 2000(Heisei12 years)
- I practice medicine ahead of the Saitama New Urban Center town difference of from April 1 to May 5, the same year.
- A passage free to do our station east and west wins a good design prize of Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.
- - chip card Suica service starts (2001) on November 18 in 2001.
Station structure
At ground Station where an island type home of one 2 line, two 4 lines in total was located between an electric traffic lane and up and down lines of each train line, I have Hashigami station building. A home, the second floor become a concourse and the freedom passage the first floor. The design of the building was carried out with Suzuki Edward who was an architect from Sayama-shi, Saitama by JR East.
A green window, automatic ticket gate, a reserved seat ticket vendor are installed. The elevator informs it of a concourse and a home with an escalator. Of these, the elevator linking the 1.2 numbered wire goes to the floor on the concourse with station offices and is prohibited from an entrance other than the person concerned there.
As for Keihin-Tohoku Line, all trains departing from and arriving at Omiya stop. Each Utsunomiya Line and Takasaki Line is a stop only for local trains departing from and arriving at Ueno including the Ueno Tokyo line; Shonan Shinjuku line and a high speed "rabbit" (all the excellence trains such as Utsunomiya Line )・" Urban (Takasaki Line) or the commuting high speed become the passage. When a large-scale event is held in adjacent Saitama supermarket arena, and there are a large number of arrival visitors, as a general rule, the measures such as stops are not performed in temporariness of the high speed [1]. Because it is driven by normal (local train), as for the Tokaido Line high speed "lye tea of the Ueno Tokyo line," Tokyo Station and to the north stops at our station (on the contrary, a high speed "rabbit via our station," in high speed "Urban," the Tokaido inside the line stops at each station).
Our station is next to the Omiya switchyard of the Tohoku goods line, and, in the fourth line west, a lot of sidetracks of the freight train are established. Because the top and bottom main line leaves it, and the goods line is surrounded by measuring lines, there is not the plan to establish the platform to the goods line from this station establishment to date. The Shinjuku area line of the Shonan Shinjuku line running through a goods line the Musashino Line through train passes the fourth line side; the Omiya area line catches measuring line group, and pass the slightly away Saitama supermarket arena side.

Departure melody
A song of Saitama-shi "town of the hope" (dream) is used for the second line departure melody [2].
Use situation
The daily mean vehicle ridership of 2015 is the 97th place in 48,371 people at the station in the JR East area. There is much fewer it than Urawa Station of Omiya Station where the Shinkansen stops at and city center Station, and there is few it, but the users increase with development of the Saitama New Urban Center year by year even if they compare it with Minami-Urawa Station and Kita-Urawa Station where the middle range train does not stop at.
It is crowded at the time of the event holding in the neighborhood of Saitama New Urban Center particularly the Saitama supermarket arena very much. On the megathon date, broadcast to call for the charge to the return ticket purchase, a card sounds through the yard before an event, and, after the end, the person in charge for security, the guard is increased by each home. In addition, the handling of the attendance end signal is carried out at the time of the train departure, too.
The daily mean vehicle ridership since the opening of business is a street of the lists shown below. They divide overall vehicle ridership by 365 (as for the year when epagomenal days enter 366) in the year, and they demand mean vehicle ridership all day long, and the outside and the periodical sum do not necessarily agree with the total on a calculation for a fixed period because the decimal value that occurred cuts it off.
