Olmaliq (Uzbek: Olmaliq ,Олмалиқ, dew :Алмалык) is a city of the State of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 65km is southeastern than capital Tashkent. Estimated a population of 110,000 people.

Summary
Olmaliq was established as the mine city where coal, lead, zinc, money, silver, molybdenum, barite, copper, cadmium [1] were produced in 1951 when it was under rule of the Soviet Union. The city name comes from the city of the same name which prospered as a base of the trade road of the Silk Road in the Middle Ages with the meaning called "the valley of the apple".
[2]JSC Olmaliq MMC (Almalyk Mining And Metallurgical Complex Public Joint Stock Company, popular name: Uzmetkombinat - ウズメトコンビナート [3]) which I operate today from 1949 という company builds huge metal refinement facilities and the associated facilities in the city and performs refinement business, and, besides, Uzbekistan, it is in an eminent mine, metallurgy company in Central Asia [4].
Soil pollution and air pollution spread by refinement business, and Olmaliq is one of the places that the metal pollution goes ahead through on the earth. Highly-concentrated steam sulfate is included in the air, and the toxic waste which becomes several hundred tons is thrown away in the soil. "The factory employs 25,000 inhabitants of the city, and the Uzbek government answers it with [5] that I cannot close in national economy because I occupy the high ratio in around city economy and occupy the big ratio in national export again" [note 1] for the closedown demand of the factory. However, I announced that the government was going to perform environmental improvement of the around city area with the goal of 2010 in January, 2005. When 40 million dollars is necessary for air pollution, improvement of the soil pollution, I am calculated as a test [6].

An Uzbek occupies 60%. The ratio of 40% of other foreigners is a Russian, an Ukrainian, a Belarusian, a Tartar, a naturalized citizen from Korea of the Korea race system in much order.
