The village where Nishiojima-mura (にしおおしまそん) belonged to western part, Asakuchi-gun of Okayama. I am current Kasaoka-shi larger section of a village Nishiojima, Nishioshimashinden.
History
The details refer to "Oshima" (Kasaoka-shi)
- Nishiojima-mura, Oshimashinden merge by the enforcement of - municipality organization (1889) on June 1 in 1889 and start.
- It merges with - Oshimanaka-mura (1905) on April 1 in 1905, and great Shimamura starts. The same day Nishiojima-mura abolition.
- Yorishimacho (existing Asakuchi-shi), residue are admitted into Kasaoka-shi brushwood in larger section of a village Oshima (1955) among - Oshima village on April 1 1955. The old village level becomes a part of Kasaoka-shi.
