Capital Funato Shinto shrine (next as for pitching a camp) is a Shinto shrine in Tenri-shi, Nara at night. The old shrine ranking is a village shrine. It is read with book him, "やとぎ" "to arrive" with 夜都伎神社.
I am enshrined at the north end of the Otogi (I polish it) village. It is idea company of small company "大和国山辺郡夜都伎神社" in the expression (in other ideas company 12 Shinto shrines of city Takenouchicho and eight sword Shinto shrines of Tainosho-cho). False copying of 於都岐 (Otogi) and the opinion to do have capital Funato at night. The possibility of the relations with eight sword Shinto shrines in the whole country is thought about.
An enshrined deity,武甕槌命・Princess Oga・Pass; Tsu main life・Amako roof life。
History
夜都伎神社 and two companies of Kasuga Shrine were in Otogi formerly, but they change a precinct of a Shinto shrine of 夜都伎神社 with three ken of mound ponds (precinct of a Shinto shrine of 12 current Shinto shrines) of Takenouchi of the approximately 400m southeast, and it is informed that Otogi changed a company name to 夜都伎神社 only as one Kasuga Shinto shrine.
It is considered that Otogi-mura is old, and therefore it cost Oga, Kasuga Kanjiyo in Otogi Zhuang of the Kofuku-ji Temple Onori House and Kasuga Taisha Shrine territory here. West Norikura old burial mound is to east Norikura old burial mound, the approximately 300m northwest to approximately 200m north, and call here Miyayama (Mt. たいこ); an old burial mound a cut flat; is said that do it, and built a Shinto shrine.
Relations with Kasuga Taisha Shrine were close and gave the food and wine offered to the gods called "the attendant of the lotus" until last years of Edo era. From Kasuga Taisha Shrine, there is a tradition to let I grant it, and capital Funato Shrine use a main shrine, the torii which became old at night every 60, and fourth of Kasuga Taisha Shrine is granted in (1406) for Oei era 13 years (Kasuga Taisha Shrine document). In addition, 尋尊 of the Onori House is visited for prayer (1461) on April 6 for Kansho era two years (description of Onori House Buddhist temple and Shinto shrine miscellaneous trifles). The building where the current main shrine was moved in 1906 by Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
Ten next child (じゅうらいし: ten fiends and cannibals women) temples which is Jinguji were to the west, but are moved to the temples dedicated to the Physician of Souls in Otogi village now. The front shrine is rare thatch in this district.
