In 1920, it was installed with the opening to traffic between Karafuto agency railroad West Coast line Honto - Moka. Moka at the time was a not freeze fishery base on the Karafuto Sea of Japan side, and it was in base Station to the hood (ゴルノザヴォーツク) area in one of the southern part of west coast where there was the former inner hood coal mine which was current Sakhalin mine (シャフタ = Sakhalin ska shop) and the 久春内 (イリインスク) area in northern west coast, and it was with the richer truth line opening of business in the starting point on the Sea of Japan side to the Toyohara (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) area. I was rebuilt in 1932 by a station bookstore similar to Ueno Station and Otaru Station.

Two of them which the Karafuto west line train of the last years of Japanese times rises, and go only as far as five, Mooka Station for Honto Station. Downhill to Noda Station and 久春内駅行 came, and for each two of them, one of them for Kita-Mooka Station were operated. In addition, in the rich truth line, for each three top and bottom between Toyohara Station - Kita-Mooka Station was operated.

With Soviet Union Japanese National Railways admission of 1946, I am renamed to the ホルムスク = ユージヌイ station. The station function was reduced in transport by rail system reorganization around postwar ホルムスク, and the station bookstore of the Japanese times was dismantled in 1992.

Only one small home is left and the freight train to the イリインスク (久春内) area and neighboring station ホルムスク = ソルチローヴォチヌイ Station switchyard and the ネヴェリスク area runs it and stops now. After the passenger train stop to the ネヴェリスク area of 1997, the long-distance passenger train via our station is not operated, but section driving train binding ホルムスク = セヴェルヌイ Station and ニコライチュク Station in the city (former Ikenohata Station) together for a citizen going to the suburban datcha stops for each three top and bottom (it travels for service, 6113.6114 train = three days a week for four days a week other than 6105-6108 train = summer).

Present situation of the around ホルムスク railroad station

ホルムスク took the mainland and the role of the broadcast base in Sakhalin, and, for Soviet Union Era, the transport by rail system greatly changed from the Japanese times, too.

In ホルムスク = セヴェルヌイ Station adjacent to the ホルムスク engine department (former Moka engine department) which was the powered vehicle base of the west coast (former Kita-Mooka Stationт.Холмск-Северный, ホルムスク north Station), a fishery fleet base of the Soviet Union was established in the station front. After Soviet Union collapse, the port was maintained again at the 資機材荷揚 げの base port of the Sakhalin project, and a container base connected directly with in the station and a goods line was established. In addition, after the passenger train service stop between シャフタ = Sakhalin ska shop - ホルムスク = ソルチローヴォチヌイ of 1997, it is in the starting station of the passenger train going to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Chekhov = Sakhalin ski (former Noda Station) and Tomari (former night residence Station) from ホルムスク.

On the other hand, in ポリャーコヴォ Station (old hand well Station), it was with the ワニノ - ホルムスク railroad ferry service of 1973 in freight base Station that the ホルムスク switchyard that reached the ferry pier of the ホルムスク ocean trade port was established, and relayed a railroad ferry and a freight train of the arrival at from Shimauchi each place and renamed it to ホルムスク = ソルチローヴォチヌイ Station (ст.Холмск-Сортировочный, ホルムスク switchyard Station) in total in the switchyard in 1991.

ホルムスク = ユージヌイ Station lost a function as base Station and fell to the local station while I did it this way. The station bookstore of the Japanese times was not used in last years of Soviet Union, too and went to ruin and was dismantled in 1992. Just before the demolition, the railroad document in large number of Japanese times was taken in the station bookstore where the ruins became by a personal Japanese tourist, and most were donated to Central Japan Railway Company (Central Japan Railway) later.
