Kinichi Sawaki

The haiku poet that Kinichi Sawaki (さわききんいち, 1919 (1919) from October 6 to 2001 (2001) November 5) is from Toyama. I presided over "wind" and advocated a postwar social nature haiku. The wife is Ayako Hosomi of the haiku poet.

Career

Toyama-shi birth. Because the teaching profession had father in Korea, I spend graduation from junior high school in Korea from childhood. I study under contributor's haiku, Shuson Kato, Kusatao Nakamura for "andromeda" "winter thunder" including a haiku from 1939 when I entered the fourth high school of Kanazawa. For 1,942 years, it is Tokyo Imperial University Japanese literature course entrance to school. In 1943, I receive the call and assign it to the military unit of Mudanjiang of former Manchurian. Become the posthumous works; arouse it, and think that there is not it, and entrust wife and Ayako Hosomi that it is with the draft of the collection of haiku later. Collection of haiku "purity" publication first for 1,944 years by aid of Ayako. I am a graduate from Tokyo University in September.

In 1946, I launch "wind" with Kohei Harako and others in Kanazawa. Tota Kaneko gathers for the magazine, too and plays a key role of the social nature haiku discussion from the 50s. In 1947, I marry Ayako. In addition, I am assigned to lectureship in Kanazawa University. In 1956, I publish second collection of haiku "Shiota". In the same year, I move to Musashino-shi, Tokyo and become the Ministry of Education duty. In 1966, I am transferred to an assistant professor at Tokyo art university. A 70 professor. In 1987, retire from a university; the honorary professor. In addition, I take office as association of haiku poet's chairperson. For 1,993 years, it is 勲三等旭日中綬章受勲. In 1995, I win the tenth poetry literature building prize in collection of haiku "in front of eyes" and win a prize for association of the tenth haiku poet criticism in "the youth of the haiku of the Showa era". In 1996, I win the 30th snake scepter prize in collection of haiku "swans". On November 5, 2001, I die. "The wind" is final number of with memorial special feature of Sawaki of the March issue in the next year. Is of the same discipline; Tetsuhiko Hiyama.

I advocate a social nature haiku mainly on "wind" from postwar period. I regarded a social nature haiku as a haiku to have a socialism ideology in the root and proposed the political nature clearly. The "Noto Shiota" repeated cultivation (1955) including "100 days line of contact reckoning all through calls a topic for hot weather" a representative phrase in particular, and collection of haiku "Shiota" including this repeated cultivation receives high praise of Sanki Saito. I let social nature retrogress from about 1960 after the U.S.-Japan Security Treaty revision and shifted to a realism-centered style and raised a slogan of "the thing concreteness immediately" while performing the review of the sketch theory of Shiki Masaoka. A product in Hyoko is it in ("a swan") in a masterpiece of the latter period "is it the whereabout of the Yakumo reason large cup bird?".
