Johan Andreas Malaysia

Johan Andreas Malaysia (Johan Andreas (Anders) Murray, from January 27, 1740 to May 22, 1791) is a Sweden-born German scholar of medicine, botanist. I am known for the writing about the medical herb.

I was born in Stockholm. As for father, there is Gustaf Murray which became an archbishop of Johann Philipp Murray and ヴェステロース of the historian to brothers in Prussia-born theologian, darshan.

I learned from 1756 in Uppsala University. It is one who took a lecture of Linnaeus. I moved to the German ゲッティゲン University in 1760 and got a medical degree. I was appointed in 1769 by a professor of the Gottingen University, a plant director. I studied efficacy and the formula of the medical herb which was highly concerned with a botanist at the time in a botanical garden.

The writing of the field of the pharmacy had six Apparatus medicaminum (1776–92), and the publication of the most last part became the rejected word. A full title is a book of the collected studies of the herbalism at the time in "Apparatus medicaminum tam simplicium quam præparatorum et compositorum in praxeos adiumentum consideratus" ("the prescription of the drug, a simple preparation and application in the treatment").

It was known even that German translated the writing such as Swedish doctors and I touched own preface and published 13 of "system (Systema Naturae) of nature" of Linnaeus with a title of "Systema Vegetabilium" ("the system of the plant kingdom") in 1774.

It was done 献名 in the genus of the plant of the Rutaceae, a scientific name of the cherry laurel genus (Murraya J.Koenig ex L.).
