Summary

I am located the north of Monzen-cho and am dotted with many villages along Gulf of Minazuki. The origin of the name of a village comes from 志津良荘 which there was on this ground around the Middle Ages.

History

• 志津良荘 is 立券 (Kyuan era two years) for 1,146 years.
• Minazuki (all include it) village, 50 bank (いぎす) villages, Mochida-mura, Uyama-mura, Yoshiura-mura, Otaki-mura, Nakayachi-mura, Yatoku-mura, Kosugi-mura, Domiki Okakuma-mura, Imoriagesaka-mura, Kuresaka-mura, barrel Mimura, thin Nomura merge by the municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889, and 七浦村 is established.
• Monzen-cho starts by former Monzen-cho, Hongo-mura, Urakami-mura, Okamura, a merger with Kuroshima-mura (1954) on March 31 in 1954. 14 capital letters of Motomura succeed in Monzen-cho.
