The Triennale where is held once in three years when ceramic art-related various events are performed led by one of the world's largest ceramics competition "international ceramics exhibition Mino" in international ceramics Festival Mino (International Ceramics Festival MINO). Holding of 2017 is decided on the next time. The main meeting place is ceramic park MINO of Tajimi-shi, Gifu. In 2014, 秋篠宮眞子内親王 took office as the honorary president.
