ベドジフ Hrozny (Bedřich Hrozný, from May 6, 1879 to December 12, 1952) is a Czech Orientalism student, linguist. I studied the history of the Hittite. Particularly, I decoded ancient Hittite and elucidated that it was India Europe family of languages. He was a Czech, but announced the results of research in German or French.
Hrozny is from リサー ナッド ラベム of Austrian = Hungary empire Bohemia. In a town of Colin, he learned Hebrew and Arabic and learned a cuneiform character used in Asia Minor and Mesopotamia, Persia in addition to Akkadian, Aramaic, Ethiopian, Sumerian, Sanskrit in the Vienna University. He learned Orientalism more in Humboldt University Berlin.
In 1906, I discovered an official document of the Hittite King that a German investigating group was written to the east in a cuneiform character in Hattusha: the Hittite Capital of approximately 200km in Ankara, but was written by an unknown letter. In 1917, Hrozny announced that a description and the grammar of the letter were India Europe families of languages. In 1918, I took office as a professor of the history in Prague Karel University. In 1925, Hrozny discovered the flat board of 1,000 cuneiform characters including the letter of the merchant of Assyria.
He tried the decoding of the Hittite letter using a letter of ancient India and Crete later, but did not go well. He finished activity as 學者 by a heart attack in 1944.
