Career
Kart racing

個人
ティンクネルは、12歳までデヴォンのシドマスにあるセント・ジョンズ小学校に通っていた。彼はそれからエクセターの学校に通って、そこでGCSE（イギリスの全国統一試験制度）でAを6個とBを4個取得する程優秀な学生となった。レース活動から離れたプライベートでは、ゴルフやダーツ[26]、ラグビーやチェスに興じており、地元のサッカークラブであるプリマス・アーガイルFCのサポーターである。
