Desiree Defoe
The American leader that Desiree Defoe (DésiréDefauw, from September 5, 1885 to July 25, 1960) is from Belgium.
Brief career history
I was born in Ghent and studied under Johan スミット with a violin. I gave glory to a debut as a violinist in London in 1910 and, in 1914, formed Charles Woodhouse, Lionel Tertis, Emil デハード and Allied Corp. string quartet. I came back to mother country Belgium and acted as a professor at conduct course of the House of Brussels music including activity as a leader from 1926 through 1940 afterwards. I made a my guest appearance in the NBC symphony orchestra in 1938 and gave glory to United States debut and acted as the top leader of the Chicago symphony orchestra in the musical directors of the Montreal symphony orchestra from 1943 through 1947 from 1941 through 1953. I became the top leader of the Gary symphony orchestra in 1950, but I retired because of a disease in 1958 and died in Indiana Gary two years later.
