Chikuho Electric Railroad Line (ちくほうでんきてつどうせん) is a pike of Chikuho Electric Railroad linking Chikuho-Nogata Station of prefecture Nogata-shi from Kurosaki-Ekimae Station of Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka. There is not the official route name.
I use a streetcar-shaped vehicle, but this route is "the railroad" that the whole line is based on the railway business method. Until February, 2015, in house between Kurosakiekimae - Chikuho Nogata, the Kurosakiekimae - Kumanishi interval, it was the third kind railway company the second kind railway company Nishi-Nippon Railroad (following "Nishitetsu") Chikuho Electric Railroad. Originally this section took the form that Chikuho Electric Railroad ran in with a part of Nishitetsu Kitakyushu Line, but changed section to remain when Nishitetsu abolished it between Kumanishi - Orio of the Kitakyusyu line in 2000 on the railroad by the railway business method from the orbit by the orbit method. I received spin-off and consisted of Nishitetsu assets of Chikuho Electric Railroad formally on March 1, 2015, and the third kind railway business of Nishitetsu was abolished [1]. In third party group compiling information such as the light rail in the U.K., association of light rail traffic (Light Rail Transit Association: LRTA), I classify this route as a railroad equivalent to light rail.

Service form
Whole line consecutive train between Kurosakiekimae - Chikuho Nogata and section train between the Kurosakiekimae - Chikuho middle put the whole line in turn in the daytime in the rush time of flat Japan and North Korea every 12 minutes in time, and train and section train between the Kurosakiekimae - Chikuho middle, Kusu Bridge put the whole line approximately in turn in rush time in the evening on weekdays every 5-10 minutes with weekdays and holidays, and train and section train between the Kurosakiekimae - Kusu Bridge are run in turn every 7-10 minutes. In addition, there is section train between Kusu Bridge - Chikuho Nogata that served as the storage of entrance and exit to a garage in an early morning, the middle of the night. Conventionally, a conductor boarded all trains, but autocrat driving is started for 3000 form and the trains with the 5000 form train than time schedule revision of March 12, 2016 in time except a rush in morning, the evening [2]. In addition, only a 3000 form train updates a direction curtain in a color for 誤乗防止. I was on the basis of the whole line all through driving of the interval even once in the daytime for several minutes, but it decreases the number of flights at every time schedule revision, and it is particularly from the Chikuho middle and to the south, and there is it in a large decrease of flights tendency in after 2012.
History
It was planned as train service to reach Fukuoka-shi through Chikuho from Kitakyushu-shi (Kurosaki) by Nishitetsu.
I planned the pike which bound Kitakyusyu and Fukuoka-shi together by the Kyushu electricity orbit which was a direct forerunner of Nishitetsu in the Taisho era, and even the Gulf of Hakata railroad steamship that was one of the forerunner companies of Nishitetsu planned a railroad between Kitakyusyu - Fukuoka, and Nishitetsu after five mergers of (1942) applied for a similar plan in 1942, too, but was over without realizing all it. I finally acquired the license of the Kitakyusyu - Fukuoka interval (via Chikuho) (1950) in December in 1950 and started construction and reached to Chikuho-Nogata Station in (1959) in 1959, but, in the west, Yakiyama Pass became the neck afterwards. Because there was not financial power as I dug the tunnel, company alone did not lead to the start of construction and lapsed with a license between Nogata - Iizuka - Niiborimachi, Fukuoka-shi in (1971) in 1971. Fortune north Yutaka line (JR Chikuho Main Line, Sasaguri Line) takes the role to bind Chikuho and Fukuoka together now.
In addition, the sections from the Jogen station (existing Kumanishi Station) to Kurosaki Station were going to build the original route separately from Nishitetsu Kitakyushu Line, too, but a license lapses in (1974) in 1974 without realizing this.
Plan of the pike between Kitakyusyu - Fukuoka by Nishitetsu and the forerunner companies
Plan by the Kyushu electricity orbit
After having practiced medicine between Moji - Orio equal to にのちの Nishitetsu Kitakyushu Line by the Kyushu electricity orbit during (1914) in 1914 from (1911) in 1911, I acquire orbit laying patent of 47.27km between Orio - Fukuoka (1919) on December 18 in 1919 [3]. It was named "nine gauge Fukuoka express trains". I acquire the orbit laying patent between the Moji - rake in (1924) in 1924 [4].
I set up the Construction Department in Fukuoka-shi in (1928) in 1928. I change rake - Fukuoka interval, Shiroyama Pass way to Karatsu Highway, Furumon street (a popular name "authority of feudal lord") way (plan distance in this way extends 0.9km) and I divide 工区 into three in (1931) in 1931 and start construction by a plan between Orio - Fukuoka from chief priest - Yoshizuka interval in (1929) in 1929.
However, an unjust bill case by Kozo Matsumoto of the ex-President Kyushu electricity orbit is found out in same 1931 [5], and the case will suffer a debt for 4,150,000 yen in the Kyushu electricity orbit although it was handled. Therefore, I borrowed money from Industrial Bank of Japan in particular and repaid it, but I was forced to immediate interruption of the construction as a condition of the special loan and returned you the patent between the Moji - rake (1933) on September 21 in 1933 and carried out the company abolition between Orio - Fukuoka [6].
Plan with the Gulf of Hakata railroad steamship
I transferred the land of 92,446 tsubos that Kyushu electricity orbit acquired for Fukuoka extension in Kyushu Tochi Kogyo which was Kyushu electric orbital subsidiary to Gulf of Hakata railroad steamship (1937) on May 29 in 1937. Because I let you wrote the Gulf of Hakata railroad steamship that obtained land by transfer in (1925) in 1925 from (1924) in 1924 and open new Hakata (のちの Chidoribashi) - Miyajidake interval (popular name "Kaizuka Line" existing Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line) [7], I applied for a railroad laying license between Miyajidake - Orio in the name of "the fortune gate communication railroad" as an extension plan of this route. At this chance I started a request to sell Kasuya line (existing Kyushu Railway Company Kashii Line) owned by the company to the Ministry of Railways because Seizo Ota member of the House of Lords who was the president gets the fund in those days, but it comes to light later to have given Heikichi Ogawa who was Minister railroad a bribe at this time (five so-called private railroad political scandal cases), and the trust of the company loses it at a stretch. Furthermore, because Japan-China War broke out in July, 1937, a temporary fund adjustment law was enforced, and the financing for railroad laying became more difficult. By the way, it was the route which appeared to Iizuka across Misaka Pass, three Kooriyama place from Miyajidake by the plan, but was form to run side by side by the plan of the Kyushu electricity orbit in the east side of this route.
I applied for railroad laying of 59.6km between Kurosaki - Fukuoka in the name of "Chikuho Electric Railroad" (1941) in October in 1941, but when merger, Nishitetsu were established, a review of the track extension business from the forerunner company was taught from Ministry of Railways, and five companies such as Gulf of Hakata railroad steamship, the above-mentioned Kyushu electricity orbit in total were over afterwards to support a war regime (the ground transportation business adjustment method) in the next year without realizing it because I received 返付 of the railroad laying application. The section taught a review to had Ogura - Yukuhashi interval (new establishment), Doi - Shiniizuka interval (new establishment), Zasshonokuma - Hakata interval (Zasshonokuma Line), Omuta - Kumamoto interval (Omuta Line extends and plans it) other than this section, but is over without realizing all it.
Plan by Nishitetsu
In Nishitetsu formed by five mergers, (the plan agrees with the thing of the Gulf of Hakata railroad steamship era) which I applied to for (1943), railroad laying between Kurosaki - Fukuoka in 1943 was rejected by war situation aggravation of the Pacific War. Nishitetsu applied for railroad laying between Kurosaki - Fukuoka in the name of "Chikuho Electric Railroad" again in (1946) in postwar 1946, but this was rejected, too.
I applied for railroad laying between three たび Kurosaki - Fukuoka in Nishitetsu in (1949) in 1949 and acquired a local railway laying license (鉄監第 2043) (1950) on December 23 in 1950 one year later, the following day and established Chikuho Electric Railroad as an operator between Kurosaki - Fukuoka (1951) afterwards on February 15 in 1951.
I revise a plan in (1954) in 1954 and I am going to use a bridge of 360m in tunnel, Ongagawa of 4.5km in Yakiyama and change it. I mediate it in Kurosaki - Nogata 16.3km, Nogata - Iizuka 13.6km, three mechanics ward of Iizuka - Fukuoka 27.5km and start construction between Kurosaki - Nogata as a first mechanic ward. However, construction began with Jogen (current Kumanishi) for Nogata, and Jogen - Chikuho middle interval really opened it (1956) not Kurosaki on March 21 in 1956.

Activated measures
Because it is the route of the 100% subsidiary of the major private railroad, they did not receive the conspicuous public support until now, but ことから where passenger decrease leads to [9], Kitakyushu-shi, Nakama-shi, Nogata-shi along the line will perform the maintenance of our route and plural support about the activation from 2014. I perform a support project for capital spending such as the introduction of the new vehicle and chip card system by three combination until 2017, and Nogata-shi includes a budget to investigate the right or wrong about extending our route (JR) to the neighborhood of Nogata Station from Chikuho-Nogata Station following the fact that I finished city area maintenance business around Nogata Station in 2013. I open the meeting by a company official and three persons of city and Fukuoka in June of the year once a month and examine a prospect or a route of the demand [10].

Remarks
- There is Chikuho-Nogata Station in the remote place with Chikuho Main Line (fortune north Yutaka line), Heisei Chikuho railroad Ita Line Nogata Station and suffers on foot for approximately ten minutes.
- I pointed to the Chikuho Railway Corporation once when I said "a train" in Nogata district. This is because Chikuho Main Line was non-electrification for a long time.
- I may call a Chikuho Electric Railroad Line station "a streetcar stop" after the fashion of Nishitetsu Kitakyushu Line. It is "a station", but the signal of the road is displayed mainly with "a streetcar stop", and a stop name called "筑鉄 ○○""○○ streetcar stop" coexists in the Nishitetsu bus in the group formally regardless of a scale and the service company of the station.
- "The bus stop which is transcribed into 筑鉄 ○○"
- 筑鉄今池, 筑鉄永犬丸, 筑鉄中間, 筑鉄香月, 筑鉄直方
- The bus stop which is transcribed into "○○ streetcar stop
- Hole straight streetcar stop, Tooritani streetcar stop, Ganda streetcar stop, Koyanose streetcar stop (it has been already abolished)
- "The bus stop which is transcribed into 筑鉄 ○○"
- A melody signature made in Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. is adopted as a train approach melody of the stations. As for our one which there are two kinds, pitch and the speed are a little different from FamilyMart in the same thing.
- The Kurosaki-Ekimae Station - Nishi-Kurosaki Station interval is 0.2km, and the distance between this station is the Japanese shortest for a rail line along with Matsuura railroad West Kyushu line Sasebo-Chuo Station - Naka-Sasebo Station interval.
