History

マウアーシュテッテン belonged to the イルゼー empire monastery. I belonged to Bayern after the master of empire convention resolution of 1803 required.

For the Nazis autocracy era, マウアーシュテッテン (Stein Holtz) was the location of the "leader low II" concentration camp which was the outside facilities of the Dachau Concentration Camp. The inmate of the leader low outside camp was employed for forced labor in an ammunition factory of カウフボイレン.

922 Jewish inmates arrived on September 4, 1944. Approximately 100 people arrived more afterwards. Of these, he died of the labor circumstances that 472 people were inferior and the spread of the epidemic during four months when a camp continued. The corpse was buried in the forest. A monument is built, and there becomes the concentration camp graveyard in memory of a victim now [³].

Malian agma LOTTE

Malian agma LOTTE (グロッテ of the Maria) of マウアーシュテッテン is グロッテ which is the oldest in this area. This was made on the east side of the Saint fight church in 1890. I was moved to the place of the old presbytery in the west of the graveyard in 1927. This グロッテ is made with tufa of イルゼー. I was repaired in 2007.
