History
It was a part of the mirror castle county until the colony period. 漁郎郡 is a county founded in 1952.
The neighborhood of fishing Otsu was a good fishing ground from old times, but it prospered as a big base of the sardine fishing from the 1920s, and the generated oils and fats chemical industry developed from a fish oil. I am promoted to 漁大津邑 in 1940. Although it decreased, as for the fish catches of the sardine, the marine products industry is prosperous for a change of the excursion area now.
