石井忠亮

石井忠亮 (I let you be and am, and autumn and others / be only only not crowded on [1], Tenpo era July 7, 11 on [1] (August 4, 1840 in) -1901 year in (1901 on) January 1) is Saga clansman of the late Tokugawa period, high government official of the Meiji era. The founder of the Japanese state-run telephone business. Old Ministry of Communications first generation telegraphic communication chief of the bureau, 錦鶏間祗候. Masaru Inoue of the railroad, postal Hisoka Maejima, the one of "the communication four Four Devas" along with Yasuyo Ishimaru of the telegraphic communication. I give popular name, Sadayuki [1].

Career

In former Saga clansmans, I worked as an instructor of 藩営三重津海軍所 with Kuranosuke Nakamuta and others. By the first Japanese naval review held (1868) in March in 1868, I mapped it to the flagship electric current-maru (Saga feudal clan) and acted as the total commander of one fleet to receive it, and to look consisting of six dispatched by five and the France navy in total. By the Boshin War, I belong to the government troop and go to the front of box building as a circle captain in spring time of the Saga feudal clan navy. The meritorious services in war are praised than the Emperor Meiji, and a meritorious services in war salary 50 stone is granted.

At the age of a commander, I leave the military duties and transfer to the ministry of official in charge of building. I am concerned with the business of engineering works, the telegraphic communication and inspect the telegraphic communication circumstances of each European country in (1875) in 1875. I take office as a telegraphic communication chief of the bureau in (1880) in 1880. I went on a business trip to Shanghai in (1883) in 1883 and inspected a local telephone switching station. I feel the need of the immediate telephone business establishment in Japan, and, after returning home, a proposal does establishment of the state-run telephone business for Lord official in charge of building Takayuki Sasaki. As a result, state telephone business began, and I called, and 忠亮 talked first in Japan.

I attended at all countries telegraphic communication meeting held in (1885), Germany in 1885 as a representative of Japanese Government. I was selected as a senate house Diet member in (1887) in 1887 by Ministry of Communications telegraphic communication chief of the bureau. I am transferred to Governor of Wakayama in (1889) in 1889. It became 依願免本官 (1892) on April 28 in court staff in charge of miscellaneous services, 1892 in (1891) in 1891 and retired from it [2]. I spent the rest of life in Wakayama in the later years. I die (1901) in 1901.
