Association of boxing in Europe
Association of boxing in Europe (European Boxing Association) is a throne authorized group of the Europe region. The establishment is 1998. The abbreviated designation is EBA. The headquarters is Spain. It was World Boxing Association (WBA) affiliation, but leaves it now.

Summary
The WBA where Europe did not have a local title established it in 1998. I named the Europe title which EBA authorized WBA international title (WBA International) at first. However, the Europe title came to authorize it as the same EBA title in about 2004 because the name "international" (internationally) was confusing though it was Europe title.
A tie-up was canceled one-sidedly in 2011 by the WBA, but EBA expressed its disapproval of this and decided a suit in 2013 new year [1].
Problems and questionable point about the name of the title
Problems
- WBA interchange Continental title (WBA Intercontinental) came up with what abolished a name the WBA international this time, and most of kings of the WBA international shifted to this title after a throne jump-off. Besides, WBA international renamed it to WBA interchange Continental because the most of the title match of WBA interchange Continental were performed in Europe; is looked from a viewpoint. In EBA, as for the most of the throne, it is a nominal position probably because this neighborhood is really confusing, and the process to there is incomprehensible without being recognized too much.
- A photograph is belonging to it as "former EBA king" and, in the official site of EBA, introduces some of the past WBA international king. From this, I understand that it is the title which EBA title renamed from WBA international, but existence of WBA interchange Continental becomes a cause to invite confusion.
Questionable point
- I rename WBA international to EBA, and it is like the correct answer to have founded WBA interchange Continental taking advantage of it newly, but does not understand the process and details well.
- It is not obvious what kind of title WBA interchange Continental in itself is (management, positioning of the title).
- All the title matches of the past WBA international are renewed by a title match of WBA interchange Continental after it is 2007 in Boxrec.com of the boxing record site. The game that became the first throne jump-off of WBA interchange Continental becomes handled as mere defense round now (but this is not an official record).
- Joe Koizumi of the Japanese matchmaker and the boxing enthusiast has spoken, "WBA international was renamed to WBA interchange Continental" in a boxing program excitement match, too.
- Based upon the foregoing, I cannot abandon the possibility that WBA international was renamed to WBA interchange Continental either.
