Art documentation society
An art documentation society (a British designation: Japan Art Documentation Society, abbreviated designation :JADS) is a society about the documentation in a library and a museum, the art museum established in April, 2005. The forerunner is an art documentation society for the study of the April, 1989 start.

Meeting holding to think about an art library in the first in October, 1988
The name change to an art documentation meeting for the study is decided in a meeting thinking about an art library in the third in February, 1989
An art documentation society for the study starts in April, 1989
An article magazine "art documentation study" launches it in March, 1992
I change a name of it to the art documentation society in April, 2005

We had an annual conference and a study meeting in about June, and I received increase of the number of the announcement by the annual conference from 2008, and a study meeting was established every year in a fall. In addition, there is a meeting for the study in Kansai area sectional meeting and SIG.
