Ann serum Strauss (Anselm Leonard Strauss, from December 18, 1916 to September 5, 1996) is a sociologist, a social psychologist of the United States of America. I am from New York City. I belonged to the Chicago school fourth generation (the symbolic interaction theory school second generation) and mainly dealt with the fieldwork for the healthcare settings (the terminal care spot).

I did a birch from 1944 through 1947 in Laurence University. Strauss came back to University of Chicago as an assistant professor in 1952. Strauss established an interbehavior science section in University of California San Francisco school in 1960 and acted as the section head and a honorary professor until 1987.

For a Japanese main researcher about him, there is Mika Fujisawa, Masataka Katagiri, Kenichi Yamaguchi.
