Summary

After seeing what an auspicious cloud suffered from, and climbing this mountain when Luo holy priest visited North Korea according to the legend from Kudara on a day and opened the Iwaya temple of Furugo, Oita-shi for 591 years, nine deer and wild boars guided you. Therefore the Luo holy priest chops the Kannon-with-One-Thousand-Arms on a day and enshrines it in this ground, and it is said that I named nine deer Inoshiyama Entsuuji (I do not let it is black and be I do not obtain it it goes) for nine deer and wild boars. Entsuuji is named three major temples of Bungo with soul Yamadera of the sacred mountain, God corner temple god of the mountain corner temple [1]. There is the giant tree of the ginkgo of age of a tree more than 1,300 years at the door front and is appointed to Oita designation special protection tree, Oita-shi designation fragrant wood of high quality.

On the mountaintop, 96 Kuraiyama campgrounds which is the only campground managed by Oita-shi are opened and are full of camping visitors in the summer [2].

Prefectural road 21 Usuki, Oita Line runs in the northeast at the mountaintop southeast considerably from the northwest, and this route is called 96th place Pass by the mountain pass more than 96th place ridgeline roots. A forest road goes to the neighborhood of summit of 96 Kuraiyama along a ridge from the 96th place mountain pass. In addition, at the mountaintop a 96th place tunnel of Higashi Kyushu Expressway almost goes along the subjacency.
