History
- Imizu-gun lower Yokawa-mura enforces a village system with - municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889, and Yokawa-mura starts.
- It is belonged to the Himi county (1896) on March 29 in 1896 by the division of - county.
- It is admitted into the - Himi county Himi-cho (1952) on August 1 in 1952 and becomes extinct. Municipal organization takes effect on the same day, and the Himi-cho becomes Himi-shi.
