Tamekuni Kikuchi (I came and died if I get) is Higo and a feudal lord of Chikugo. The 20th present head of a household of Kikuchi. 嫡男 of the 19th present head of a household Mochitomo Kikuchi. The childhood name is Inumaru. The office and rank is 従四位下, a Higonokami short knife.

Brief career history
I inherit birthright at 16 years old by death of father in (1446) for Bunan era three years.
(1455), a local people riot were taking place in the Yasumasa first year, and Waifu Castle (Kikuchi Castle) was surrounded and it was just before the fall of a castle, but Katsuhisa Shimazu rescued it and got out of trouble. In the same year, I sent 詫摩為房 of the younger brother to Korea as a messenger and proposed trade. I started a ship of 為邦 from (1456) for Yasumasa two years, and the Nawa religion sincerity of Yatsushiro began 朝鮮遣使 from three years, too.
When Chikugo half of a country lief-guard is given by (1462), General of Muromachi Shogunate Yoshimasa Ashikaga in 大友親繁 for Kansho era three years, opposition of Kikuchi and Otomo who were Chikugo lief-guard from the past will begin.
As a result, (1465), the local people people of Chikugo, Higo will invite the attack of large friendly forces (Shiga pro-house) against 親繁 for Kansho era six years. I let Chikugo go to the front of the relief of local people people, and Tamekuni Kikuchi sent 菊池為安 of the younger brother to the Mt. Takara Bessho Castle. Both militaries crashed in Mt. Takara, and the Kikuchi, Chikugo local people people suffered defeat, and 為安 did 討死 [4].
As a result, the Shogunate dismissed Chikugo lief-guard of 為邦 by the reason of violation of order, and Otomo was considered to be the protection of Chikugo one country. 為邦 which a situation came to have weak admitted possession of Minamata by defeat for 相良為続 in the same year and hardened the system of the Higo [5].
武邦 of the second son who made (1466), atrocity in the Bunsho era first year, and did not usually follow father took Toyofuku castle away and seemed to be going to become independent. I let 為邦 dispatched eldest son, 重朝 and defeat this. 重朝 surrounds a castle and attacks it. 武邦 made a rally last and defeated it at 19 years old and died and did it and, after a fierce battle, ended.
Same year, 為邦 were still 37 years old, but they took the tonsure when they left birthright and Higo lief-guard to eldest son, 重朝 and became a priest. I go into retirement in the house of the foot of the Kameo Castle of the Koshi county Itai village when I leave Waifu. I claimed 尖活仍勢 (せんかつだいせい) deceased man's Buddhist name and I invited 如拙伯功和尚 and performed a founding of a house as 神龍山碧厳寺. I spread teaching of Confucius and Mencius afterward and I raised a pittance and enlarged the glebe of Gyokushoji.
I died in (1488) for Chokyo era two years. Age at death 59.
I perform Korea and light との trade, and 為邦 performed foreign trade flourishingly, but the decline of Kikuchi begins at the times of this 為邦.
