Takenoshin Nakai (なかいたけのしん, from November 9, 1882 to December 6, 1952) is a Japanese plant taxonomer. A professor at Tokyo University, Koishikawa plant director, Bogor plant director, Mayor of National Science Museum. Hideo Nakai of the novelist is a son.
