Life

I am born as the second son of 太田資次 which acted as (1658), Osaka castle warden and a commissioner of shrines and temples in the Manji first year. Conferment of a rank appoints it (1672) in 従五位下, 備後守 on December 28 for Kanei era 12 years. I do 遷任 (1683) in 備中守 on August 11 for Tenna three years. Because father died (1684) in April in the Jokyo first year, I succeeded to feudal tenure such as Settsu, Kawachi, Shimousa, approximately 52,000 stones following birthright. Because I distributed Hitachi 2000 stone then in 資方 of the younger brother, it becomes 5 Mangoku. It was done 移封 on July 19 by Suruga Tanaka.

I am appointed (1685) on June 10 for Jokyo two years by an agent, and I am appointed on August 9 by the second highest official of the Tokugawa Shogunate government. I do 遷任 in 摂津守 on September 4. I was appointed (1686) on January 11 for Jokyo three years by an attendant of general, Tsunayoshi Tokugawa, but resign by the reason of illness on June 29. However, this made Tsunakichi angry, and entering a service was stopped (1688) until December 18 in the Genroku era first year.

I die in Tanaka (1705) on January 2 for Hoei era two years. Age at death 48. Because all four men died young from the eldest son, 資晴 of Itsuo succeeded you in Sueko.
