Seoul Station (I get soul and come) is a station of the station of the Korean railroad public corporation (KORAIL) and airport railroad (A'REX) in the Republic of Korea Seoul Special City dragon mountain ward east child sinus and the Seoul metro in the dragon mountain ward.

In the underground "Seoul Station" station, the character of "the station" is included in the proper noun of the station name unlike a ground "soul" station, too. In addition, our station is often called Seoul Station under the ground to distinguish it from Seoul Station of the Korean railroad public corporation (KORAIL) in the ground.

A part of the train of the Seoul metro position of Route 1 Route .4 arrives all the time at our station (the first train in particular and the last train).

Summary

It is located in the central station of capital Seoul, Korea. There is 崇礼門 (Namdaemun) just before that and is a central station of Seoul both in name and in reality. The time required of the direct limousine going to Seoul Station from Inchon International Airport is approximately 50 minutes. In addition, KORAIL Airport railroad was inaugurated to our station on December 29, 2010, and a through train came to grow in 43 minutes.

The Seoul station of the Seoul metro is a transfer station, but the character of "the station" is included in a proper noun exactly, too, and "Seoul Station" station is an official name. I may call it "Seoul Station under the ground" to distinguish it from Seoul Station of KORAIL in the ground (but a vehicle of KORAIL arrives and departs from the station of the Seoul metro). In addition, I am transcribed into "Seoul Station" in 駅名標 of Gyeongui Railway Line and the airport railroad, but this official station name is "Seoul".

To the KTX opening of business of 2004, I renewed a station building. The old station building which I used is stored till then.

Entry of route

In the route running in the KORAIL station, the track name top is Kyoto pot line and 2 routes of the Gyeongui Railway Line, and our station is all the starting point.

It is the terminal station of the excellence train such as KTX (Kyoto pot rapid transit railway), ITX- Sema Ulu Mugunghwa-ho in the Kyoto pot line, and the train communicating line, 慶全線 (via the dense positive), the Hunan high speed line in southern 忠北線 Tokai directly other than Kyoto pot line arrives and departs. As for the Gyeongui Railway Line, the forwarding train of the general train is operated other than KTX and a tourist train "peace train" (DMZ-train) for Yukinobu, Inchon International Airport. In KTX by way of the Kyoto pot Highway line, the south goes by way of the track of the Kyoto pot line until the Shixing tie line divergence that there is near neckband river ward agency Station (KTX via Suweon runs Kyoto pot line until Ota station employee).

In addition, among the trains of the Kyoto pot line, as for the Hunan Line, all Luo lines, trains communicating head clause line, the 慶全線 (via west Kwangju) area directly, a dragon heap of becomes departing from and arriving at Station except some trains. Therefore, in KTX of the Hunan rapid transit railway departing from and arriving at Inchon International Airport, some trains pass our station Yukinobu.

In addition, a service system of the metropolitan area Railway Corporation such as Kyoto justice, Chuo Line runs to Route 1 (京釡電鉄線), Gyeongui Railway Line in the Kyoto pot line. As for the Route 1 station number, 133 (common with Seoul Station under the ground), a Kyoto justice, Chuo Line station number are P313.

Our station is the starting point, and the KORAIL Airport railroad is given an A01 station number.

Seoul Station old station building (historic spot 284th)

Seoul Station started a business as "Namdaemun (Namdaemun) 京仁鉄道合資会社 (current 京仁線) station" on July 8, 1900. The station name is associated with South Gate in the outskirts.

京仁線 inaugurated on September 18, 1899 was the route that linked Port Inchon to capital, the Han town, but heron beam Tsu Station just before it of the Han became the terminal in opening to traffic those days, and the communication to the Han town was bad. On July 5, 1900, a railroad came to be finally in the Han town by the opening to traffic of the Han iron bridge, but the Namdaemun station at the time was wooden construction barrack of the size of 10 tsubos that there was in a rice field of the just outside the city limits. A dragon mountain station had a bigger scale, and South Gate Station was only the supporting station which played its part in those days. Even if Gyeongui Railway Line was inaugurated in the starting point at dragon mountain Station in Kyoto pot line, 1906, the following day, and the train which went through the Korean Peninsula came to go along dragon mountain Station, I remained in the small station of the middle of the cecum line which yet parted from dragon mountain Station for Namdaemun Station in 1905.

South Gate Station was not a terminal station, and, at the time of the opening of business, in the real starting point, it was in "the Keijo (Reeves' muntjac loss) our station station" where the north (the neighborhood of current pear flower girls' high school) matched. After having been renamed to "west Daimon (ソデムン) station" on March 27, 1905, this station is abolished on March 31, 1919.

In 1910, capital Han castle was renamed to Keijo by Japan-Korea merger. As the population of the Keijo prefecture increased, the need to make the central Keijo station which became the doorway increased. The starting point and dragon mountain Station of the origin of Kyoto pot line, Gyeongui Railway Line, Kyoto line where it was were built by a military use at center Station at the time and were far from the city and were unsuitable for a new station building. Therefore, I will rebuild existing South Gate Station near the center of commerce as new Keijo prefecture center Station. New line construction to do the Gyeongui Railway Line which went along the dragon mountain line in South Gate Station way began, and the construction of the new station building by the design of Yasushi Tsukamoto who learned from Kingo Tatsuno in 1922 began till then. It was renamed to "Keijo (けいじょう) station" on January 1, 1923 [1], and, in 1925, the station building of the left red brick was completed now. It was the station building of the scale of the Orient second next to Tokyo Station of the Kingo Tatsuno design in those days. Keijo Station treats the transnational train of the Manchurian area and will take a central role in the transport by rail of the Korean Peninsula.

Position relations of old and new station buildings

The city name "Kyoto town" is renamed to "Seoul City" by the Seoul city charter given after the war on August 15, 1946, but the changing of a name from Keijo Station to "Seoul Station" is on delay, November 1, 1947 than this [2]. Seoul Station was expanded after the Korean War many times. I founded the western part station building which treated only Gyeongui Railway Line to the west of Seoul Station in 1957 and assisted the passenger use of local inhabitants. Because a passenger scale grew big after an economic period of growth of the 1970s, and the conventional station building approached the limit, I was completed in the Hashigami station building which put it together for the Seoul Olympics, and bound conventional Seoul station building and western part station building together in 1988.

Seoul Station renovated the clothing by great repair with the KTX opening of business of 2004. A current station building fitted with glass was completed by private capital in 2003, and the old station building finished a role. I came to treat KTX from April 1, 2004. In the past, the long-distance train such as Kyoto pot line, Hunan Line, all Luo lines, head clause lines was starting from Seoul Station and were traveled, but, after the KTX opening to traffic in 2004, it could not process all trains by a problem of the track capacity at Seoul Station, and the starting station of Hunan, all Luo, head clause lines changed at dragon mountain Station from Seoul Station. KORAIL Airport railroad to Inchon Airport started a business in 2010. It links Seoul Station and Inchon International Airport Station in general around 53 minutes for direct 43 minutes.

The old station building which finished a role, and was stored depended on a design of professor at Tokyo Imperial University, Yasushi Tsukamoto, and was completed now on September 30, 1925. I imitated Amsterdam center Station (ペトルス カイペルス design) and Helsinki center Station (Eri L Saarinen design), and it is [5], but an atmosphere may resemble Tokyo Station of Japan, and, as for "the designer, it is often introduced with Kingo Tatsuno" (Tokyo Station designer) by mistake.

If it was in the doorway of the just what Korean Peninsula, in south Manchurian railroad Co., Ltd. which ran Government General of Korea railroad from 1917 through 1925, the transnational train which linked Japan, Korea, Manchurian wanted the station building of the international level that deserved to be you. This station building should have become the result of the colony management. The station building of the Yasushi Tsukamoto design started construction in June, 1922. It was going to be completed at first in 1923, but term of works is prolonged because of the Great Kanto Earthquake of the same year, and the cost of construction is reduced, too.

It was a plottage 70,083 tsubo, the first-floor 2 stories above the ground under the ground, a large building of a total of 6,631m2 in area of the building, and the building scale was a scale as I was called a station building of the Orient second next to Tokyo Station of the Orient first. In a station building, a station service room was on a royal suite and a dining room, the first floor in the basement including the waiting room on the second floor. There was a big hall in the center of the first-floor waiting room, and there was a Byzantine-like dome on the upper roof. I drew natural light into the inside of the central hall from a window of the round arch in the side of the dome and formed bright space. I finish the building in a brick composing type of the steel reinforced concrete construction and the roof spreads natural slate and a copper sheet in a steel-frame building and finishes it.

Huge Seoul Station is done with a representative building built for the Korea exploitation by the Japanese empire with Government General of Korea Government building of the completion for the same period in modern Korea. However, I am appointed in Korean historic spot 284th on August 25, 1981 by rich decoration and refined structure. Culture art people gathered on the grill (dining room) of the station building for the rule era in Japan and lectured on a work and were famous as the place that created many works.

The station building is greatly destroyed by the Korean War of 1950, and the skylight of the concourse damages it in a process of the repair. The waiting rooms of the limited express train were built more in January, 1958 by the station building south side, and most of station functions moved by the completion of the Hashigami station building which I matched with the Seoul Olympics in 1988 from a former station building. Furthermore, I finished the role as the station building after a new station building was completed in the old station building south side in 2003. The old station building was going to be performed use conversion of at first as various culture facilities including the cinematheque by a railroad culture foundation, but I required the move of proprietary rights, and proprietary rights were transferred to the cultural assets agency in 2006, and, in the cultural assets agency that a model should save Seoul Station appointed to historic spot 284, a switch to so-called "composition culture space" was announced by sightseeing in culture region in July, 2007 by the Korea railroad public corporation.

The old station building started repair work in April, 2009 and opened it as composition culture space mainly on display such as the history of Seoul Station called "culture station 284, Seoul" on August 9, 2011. It was the best, and, to this, the sightseeing in Korean culture physical education department (I rename it in 2008) prepared for the prize money such as 14 million won from September, 2008 to November 15 and collected an anecdote and documents concerning Seoul Station [6].

The wicket is established on the second floor and the third floor. In the second floor, general train (ITX- Sema Ulu Mugunghwa-ho), the third floor treat KTX mainly. I made distinction clear at the time of the KTX opening to traffic, but hardly distinguished it recently because the stairs were connected to all homes mutually.

At the home eight 16 line station above the ground, home one 2 line at the east end and the home one 1 line at the west end are the low floor homes where KTX and a public train use the above-ground house home for the metropolitan area electric railroad, the remaining home. On the 1.2 turn platform at the east end, Kyoto justice, Chuo Line uses the west end (there is no home number) home the express train of the Kyoto pot electric railroad line operated at the time of a morning rush. A home interval and a catwalk with KORAIL Airport railroad, the Seoul metro (Seoul Station under the ground) are connected only to a 1.2 turn home, but it is wicket outside transfer because the home at the west end does not have a catwalk.

LOTTE outlet Seoul Station store, LOTTE Mart Seoul Station store, Pizza Hut provide it along with a station building.

当駅は1・4号線ホームと乗り換え通路を含めると、「ㄣ」(注音符号のen)の形をしている[9]

1号線は島式ホーム1面2線を有する地下駅で、フルスクリーンタイプのホームドアが設置されている。当駅から南に進んだところで地上に出て、京釜電鉄線に乗り入れる。また、ソウルメトロ1号線は直流電化、京釜電鉄線は交流電化となっているため、デッドセクションが地上に出たところにある。4号線と乗り換える場合、ホーム南端にある階段を上り、左側にある乗り換え通路を通らなければならない。地上ソウル駅にある京釜電鉄線B急行用ホームに行くにもホーム南端にある階段を上り、その後直進する必要がある[9]

4号線も島式ホーム1面2線を有する地下駅で、フルスクリーンタイプのホームドアが設置されている。1号線と乗り換える場合、ホーム北端にある階段を上り、乗り換え通路を通る必要がある[9]

化粧室は各線の改札階の改札外に1ヶ所ずつある。出口は1 - 14番と9-1番の計15ヶ所あり、その内1番出口は地上ソウル駅京義・中央線京釜線KTX・一般列車が発着)方面、9-1番出口はソウル駅乗換センター方面に行くことができる[9]

Remarks 案内放送や駅名標などの旅客案内上は「ソウル駅駅」とされている。

空港鉄道の駅舎はKORAILの駅舎の南西部に位置し、両駅舎は繋がっている。駅舎は地上2階、地下7階の構造で、ホームは地下7階にある。2015年3月、ソウルメトロ ソウル駅方面への地下通路が開通し、1号線4号線への乗り換え時間が短縮された[10]

ホームやコンコースは直通列車と一般列車で分離されており、地下2階に直通列車の改札口と都心空港ターミナルが、地下3階に一般列車の改札口がある。ホームは2面3線構造で、島式1面2線を一般列車が使用し、単式1面1線を直通列車が使用する。エスカレーターが稼動しているが地下深いためエレベーターのほうが便利である。

この地下2階にある都心空港ターミナルは大韓航空アシアナ航空チェジュ航空ティーウェイ航空[11]の利用者に限り、ここで搭乗手続き出国審査ができる。搭乗手続きと出国審査を経た後に直通列車を利用して仁川国際空港に行くことができる。

なお、仁川国際空港駅発着のKTXは、空港鉄道の駅からではなく、地上のKORAILホームより発着する。
