Geography

It is a district located in the east southeast to 5.4km from the Hachinohe-shi government office [²]. Minatotakadai, an east exercise park are next to Okubo, the north to the east, the south, the west. There is not the station of the railroad. In the highway, National highway No. 45 goes along the west outside a district. I was developed southeast as a housing development as well as the second Sakuragaoka housing development in the distance of 1km from the grounds in (1974) in 1974.
